COMMERCIAL / INDUSTRIAL WATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS

 

Nelson Environmental Technologies, Inc. engineers and builds water treatment systems using advanced water treatment technologies.  To be considered as advanced water treatment, technologies must meet the following criteria:

 

  1. Be resource efficient (minimal use of recourses)

  2. Be environmentally friendly (minimal pollution)

  3. Be energy efficient

  4. Be user-friendly

  5. Provide a desirable environmental benefit over other technologies

 

Examples of advanced water treatment technologies are:

  1. Ultraviolet light to sterilize bacteria in water and air

  2. Electrical / Electronic water treatment for anti-scaling of hard water

  3. Electrical water treatment for microorganism and algae control

  4. Membrane technology for removing solids and dissolved solids in water

  5. Electronic deionization for producing ultrapure water

  6. Catalytic redox media for changing the properties of water

  7. Ozone for micro-organism control and oxidizing processes.

Almost all of the advanced water treatment technologies are relatively modern.  The motivation for developing these technologies normally is two-fold: better performing, easier-to-use, more environmentally friendly systems on one hand and at the same time be cost effective on the other hand.

 

It is the water treatment professionals’ responsibility to always use advanced water treatment technologies whenever possible.
